These items will be distributed to hospitals, rehabilitation centers, seniors homes and children’s centers in five oblasts, namely Donetsk, Rivne, Poltava, Chernivtsi and Kyiv.

Early, Ukrainian Canadian Social Services refurnished a kitchen and installed a dental office in a children’s hospital in Chernivtsi. Also, the organization provided mattresses to senior’s home in Ternopil Oblast as well as medical equipment and diapers to the hospital No. 2 in Ternopil.

“For today this is just a small part, with continuing support we look forward to expanding this project,” Sawycky said in his statement.
