The Ukrainian National Federation’s Camp Sokil Children’s Camp is offering summer employment opportunities for the summer of 2013 to youth and young adults who are interested in working with children, developing summer camp programs and helping to promote active involvement in the community.
Camp Sokil offers children of Ukrainian-Canadian heritage the opportunity to enjoy 4-7 weeks of activity and fun on the shores of Lake Simcoe with a range of recreational and theme based children’s camps.
We are currently looking to fill positions of Camp Program Director as well as the positions of Camp Counselors, see below for details.
Camp Program Director
The UNF Camp Director works with the Camp Sokil Board, & UNF Toronto Executive Committee to develop a summer camp program consistent with the needs and interests of the Ukrainian National Federation of Canada, and the greater Ukrainian-Canadian community. This position is ideally suited for someone working in, or seeking a career in, Youth Education, Early Childhood Education and Recreation Programming.

Camp Councillors
Counselors are the primary caregivers for each camper. The Counselor is responsible for planning, teaching, coordinating, and carrying out activities and guiding campers in their personal growth and daily living skills. These positions are ideally suited for outgoing students who enjoy working with children and seeking summer employment in outdoor activities.
