The Holodomor National Awareness Tour is a project of the Canada-Ukraine Foundation, supported by the Government of Canada, to raise awareness about the Holodomor and help build a strong, democratic, diverse and tolerant society in Canada.
The Holodomor National Awareness Tour features the Holodomor Mobile Classroom (HMC), a state-of-the-art, interactive mobile learning space, to engage and educate students and the public across Canada about the Holodomor – a famine-genocide carried out in 1932-33 by the Soviet Union led by Joseph Stalin, which resulted in the deaths of millions of Ukrainians.
The Holodomor National Awareness Tour interactive exhibit will be available for public viewing:

Tuesday, September 05 – 9 am to 12 pm and 4 pm to 8 pm – Ukrainian Community Society of Ivan Franko – 5311 Francis Rd, Richmond, BC
The Holodomor Mobile Classroom team will also work with secondary schools in Vancouver, Surrey and Chilliwack on September 06 – 08, 2017.
Admission is free. Donation box (FOR CASH OR CHEQUE) will be available.
