About the event
Traditional Ukrainian pysanka. Created in batik style, hand written on real chicken egg shell, gradually dept into different dyes. Pysanka is an old Ukrainian tradition that was hand written by women the night before Easter. Pysanka believed to protect to household from evil spirits, bad crops etc. the tradition of writing pysanka became so popular all over the world, that now it’s being made by men and women in different countries, with variety of colours and styles. Join us to experience relaxing and educational joy of writing traditional pysanka. Children age 7 and up with parental supervision Price - 30$. However, we will be grateful for a comfortable donation beyond marked price. All donations will go to the Maple Hope Foundation. They organize help for Ukrainian army such as helmets, medical supplies, bullet proof vests and non lethal supplies, as well as help for civilians and refugees
